Broccoli and Carrot Puree
Broccoli is one of the first foods I’d like to introduce to my baby during his first 6 months.…

Aah.. At last i was able to shop with my hubby for new dresses - something to wear on my hubby’s SOC awards night and graduation. I was electrified by the thought of selecting fashionable clothes that would match ny new pixie hair cut and would feel i did not gave birth to a 5.4 lbs baby boy. So i picked those hot colored dresses to choose from like vibrant blue, yellow, some orange, and cool green in a daring cut that would make me look young (although i’m still young… But young in a sense yung mukhang hindi nagpupuyat sa pagaalaga ng baby) - something like tent or baby doll kind of dress with just or above the knee length and either haltered, tiered, one shouldered, sleeveless or a super short short sleeves.

Ecstatic of me to try and fit those i picked, was fun… at first. As i went along fitting and choosing the best fit for me got me exhausted. My dress size actually did not change i’m still on the L size though i was the M to L before; good thing i didn’t get over to XL (thank God). Exhaustion came due to my postpartum belly and how giving birth widened my waist a bit more that the L size dress either is too fit at the bottom and loose at the top or just too fit entirely and XL is too loose. Exhausted that i spent so much time at the fitting room while 3-4 sales ladies assisted me and ends up choosing every dress they thought looks best on me (sari sari na at kanya kanyang opinion bahala na sa presyo basta may magkasyang magandang tingnan).
At the end of an overexerted, overextended hunt for a 2 day occasion outfit i somehow managed getting 3 dress. Hoping the next time i won’t be worrying that postpartum belly and that widened waist again… Better get into that exercise and diet quickly. Just waiting for the complete recovery of my episiotomy.
Pasta Amore
Sunday at my parents house, no one prepared a lunch even the helper forgot about it. I was busy…
Be strong!
We are not here to play, to dream, to drift;
We have hard work to do and loads to lift.
Shun not the struggle — face it;
It’s God’s gift.
Be strong!
It matters not how deep intrenched the wrong, how hard the battle goes, the day how long;
Faint not — fight on!
Tomorrow comes the song.
